Personal Experience

Zaher is a Lawyer at Nelson and Nelson Legal who became a valuable member of our team in August 2023. Prior to joining us, Zaher had gained practical experience in the field of personal injury law while working at a boutique law firm in Downtown Calgary.

Zaher attended law school abroad at the University of Leicester in England. After completing law school, Zaher returned to Calgary and successfully completed all required exams for accreditation issued by the National Committee on Accreditation. Prior to attending law school, Zaher completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Calgary.

During his articling term under the mentorship of Stephen B. Nelson, Zaher successfully assisted numerous clients get financial compensation for injuries sustained from slip and falls, motor-vehicle accidents, and other injuries that were caused by the negligence of a person and / or a corporation. Additionally, Zaher has experience in Family Sponsorship Applications and Temporary Resident Visa’s.

Zaher’s practice focuses on Immigration Law; Personal Injury; Criminal Defence; Wills and Estates; and Civil Litigation. Notably, Zaher is proficient in both Arabic and English, which enhances his ability to serve a diverse range of clients effectively.

Outside of the office, Zaher can be found enjoying the outdoors, exploring the city, and spending time with family and friends
